to catch a bus

WFH.  Some progress made with the big data processing stuff. I managed to get the storage usage down which is excellent - 50% matters when talking 5TB. Looks like that came at a cost of processing time - it lots slower now. Will see after the weekend if it is prohibitively slow. 

Quick walk into town to get fresh air, a blip and some food shopping done. Oh, and sorted flight for son #1. I must say I miss the days when you could go to the travel agency and ask to be sorted out. I also confess to totally despise sites that make the fares look good but by the time you add all the bits and realise that the discount doesn't apply it is no cheaper than going to the airline directly. It is sorted, now we just need to hope PCR test result will come back in time and are negative.
