Dog sitting

J and I kept my daughter's dog company for a couple of hours this morning. It was the first time she has ever been left for a day (as was a covid puppy and now Emily and husband mostly are back in their offices). It was so hot and she was rather lethargic so an easy job! 
I had a run before that and afterwards we took J back home via a country pub lunch and cup of tea with his gf's parents. 
We took our dinner to the beach tonight and watched the sunset (making the most of the last few days of warm weather).
