Dún Laoghaire Anseo
This is a painting by Paul Francis . It is one of a series of paintings around the town for the event called Dún Laoghaire Anseo. It depicts how William Marr a local resident saved the life of Dorothy Topping after the mailboat The Leinster was torpedoed after setting sail from Dun Laoghaire (then called Kingstown) on the 10th October 1918, just a month before the official ending of the First World War.
