Between the lines....

We went for a walk this evening, in the cool of the day, and it was good. It has been very hot again and I’ve stayed indoors. Rare for me.

Earlier I watched parents walk by to collect their children from the school opposite us, then to watch parents walk by again with children on their way home. Happy sounds. Term ends tomorrow.

Another of Sophia’s peers has tested positive, her mother is a teacher. It will be a big relief for many that this academic year is over. It’s been extremely stressful and like no other.
