Our View

Hazy but mild all day, giving us great weather for the 4 hour ride that included stops for hubby to stretch his bum knee and an hour for lunch. We are almost set up. The site has two trees with hardware for a hammock. But our hammock lacks the chain and S hook. Hope to remedy that tomorrow morning. We have a large corner lot with no neighbors at the moment. I am sure it will be full for the weekend. There is a Boy Scout group tent camping up the street but only for one night. I hope they have a sing along tonight (actually they just started!). We will have tacos soon as I have worked up an appetite unpacking our home for the next 5 days. We have a pretty nice view of the Potomac River out of the kitchen window. Might even take advantage of the chairs at the water’s edge. The sky still has a haze from the wild fires. We have a train track close by. I find the sound of trains soothing.
