This was texted over to me this morning.  Here she is just before she went off to school this morning.   And why would she be like this.
I’ll explain…..In Australia they have two intakes for new entrants, June and February.  Her 5th birthday was in August last year which meant she didn’t  start school until February this year.  Today was her and other February entrants a 100 day prep party, so our little girl dressed as a 100 years old.
It seems appropriate that she is my blip today…..
…..today with the delta variant rampant in New South Wales, less so in Victoria and South Australia our Government decided to pause our Nz Australia bubble for eight weeks. Even though Queensland is Covid free !!!  We’re bitterly disappointed as had planned to go over there in September for the school hols …. It’s now almost two years since we’ve seen our family, and whilst we have regular FaceTimes nothing quite like giving real hugs.  They’re very disappointed also.
