My Garden, Hellebore

My hellebores which I so love are a disaster this year,  I was running late going out to the neighbours so it was a grab shot in a dark bit of the garden
It surely was a day of two extremes. A sad farewell to a wonderful friend dying of cancer. Took her a batch of shortbread as she loves my baking. Came away knowing it was the last time I will see her. Its family time now. She is trying hard to stay for the birth of two new grandchildren due in the next couple of weeks.  Cried all the way home.
I then got invited to go and share a fish and chip tea with  a group of neighbours celebrating the arrival of a precious grandson for one of them. I didn't feel like going however it was very pleasant
