Undiscovered Fife
At least for the Dog Family.
Mr and Mrs Dog are currently residing in St Andrews. They wished to see some of the delights of Fife that Pat and I had uncovered over the past year or so.
We decided to pick them up in the "FBI Cactus" kitted out with fast throughflow air conditioned air and headed off on a journey of discovery.
They sat in the rear, and our tour commenced. Much of it covered the Wemyss Estate and the several Wemyss villages.
We also walked several waterfront miles meeting several other walkers. We discussed the latest diabetes monitoring by sensor and iPhone when we encountered two women.
Mr Dog is diabetic and this was of great interest. The second lady was really quite taken with my hair style. Mrs Dog had encouraged my long hair about eighteen months ago. It is a great hit with "the ladies".
We then drove onto Dysart and Ravenscraig Park. All new to Mr and Mrs Dog. We had Pat’s lunch on a picnic table overlooking the Forth Estuary, before exploring Dysart architecture.
After a very good coffee served at the Harbour Masters House, we journeyed back by, Balbirnie Country Park, Markinch, Star, and Ladybank we stopped at Birnie and Gadden Loch.
Ann and Pat sat and chatted whilst I led Mr Dog around Birnie Loch, highlighting points of interest.
Since our last visit, all of the trees, reeds and undercover are in full array as today’s Blipfoto shows.
We then drove back to St Andrews for an evening meal prepared by Ann and Pat.
"Undiscovered Fife" was a great success as the Dogs had never been to any of the places we visited. We all enjoyed ourselves.
And of course, several other Undiscovered Fife Tours await. I was mildly surprised to find that my step count for the day was 17543.
