Teasels

JJ was up early for golf so I dressed and went out for a walk around the fields.

Back home I did a few chores and just before 10.30 JJ's PC came back from repair.  I made a cup of tea and took it outside with my book.  I had no sooner put my bum on the seat when the school's gardener started the hedge cutting.  If he hadn't had his ear mufflers on I'd have asked him if he had anything louder he could use instead.  Deafening.  What with that and their new mower........

The little field vole keeps visiting and I spied a juvenile robin on the fence that hasn't, as yet, had his red livery delivered.  See extras.

I've watched a bit of the Olympics opening ceremony and think I'm now in the mood to shut myself away and get involved.
