Faster, Higher, Stronger - Together

Given all that has gone before, I was just pleased to see the Games finally begin. I’m sure they were at times just making up names of countries. Couldn’t be that I’m just ignorant.

Andrew Cotter & Hazel Irvine came up with some great facts that I may try and shoehorn into future conversations. Who knew that Ukraine is the largest country totally in Europe?

Of course no opening ceremony will ever be able to compete with London 2012. That’s not bias, just fact. We had Bond, Her Majesty, Becks & Mr Bean to name but a few.

That said I think they did well and I loved the drones.

Was an early visit to this place in order to be back in time for the start. Was glad to see there was no sign of panic buying and a high percentage continuing to wear masks. As they say, every little bit helps.
