Dun Gatein

Part of a gateway for as long as I can remember, it gradually rotted at ground level.About two years ago it finally fell over and was thrown in the hedge. When the hedge has occasionally been trimmed, the old fence has been dumped on the ground and left until someone gets tired of walking round it and throws it back in the hedge. I don't really understand how it's survived successive bonfire nights.
