Chimneys

I spotted these chimneys while I was waiting in the car outside Paddy The Barber's for my haircut this morning. I liked the angles of the roofs (or is it rooves?). I edited out the security lighting on the wall, another triumph for content aware fill plus a bit of cloning and dodging.

This wouldn't have been my blip though if I had managed to get my camera in time to capture the two biplanes which flew very low directly over our house this afternoon. But obviously I didn't get it in time.

After yesterday's socialising, to keep up the momentum, we had just had our neighbour and Bertie around for hot chocolate and cake. Bertie didn't actually have any, but he continues to make a full recovery from his recent surgery. This time I broached the subject of vet's bills and a figure of £7000 was mentioned, luckily covered by insurance.
