Calm before the storm

Funny weather today. Woke up to hazy sun, felt muggy and strong wind wind gusts. Heard a huge thud, Found a large heavy container full of cleaning liquids had blown off the window recess in the bathroom. Must’ve been some gust.

Got warmer and closer. Tonight there are lightning bursts on the horizon and some heavy downpours and thunderstorms are forecast in the early hours.

Otherwise just kept myself busy. We went for a walk round the block an hour ago, but decided not to go far in case the heavens opened. Ended up chatting to a neighbours outside.
