Flower and Friend Friday

I drove Al across the state today to spend time with our dear and long time friends,  Glen and Toni.
Like Al, Glen is battling tremendous health issues,  and his wife is his rock.
Toni is an incredible woman, a nurse who makes sure the doctors tell her what's going on.  But she doesn't have family or a support system of friends that live nearby like I do.  It's 2 hours for us to get there,  and our other best friends live even further from her.
We all do the best we can, and have hopes that the men will be healthy enough for another group vacation one day!
These beautiful red flowers are part of Toni's well kept yard...she really has her hands full.
