Mardale Waters

The extensive blanket bog seems to be benefitting from the reduced grazing.  Bog asphodel just past its best and sundew in flower.  Lots of insects and a ring ouzel on the crags.  Haweswater is looking thirsty.

Small Water and Blea Tarn were refreshing on another hot day.
