The river Doon

This is a downstream photo of the river. Last month I took an upstream one which showed the brig I am standing on today. This is the brig featuring in 'Tam O'Shanter' by Robert Burns.
I was cooped up all day and it felt more so because I had had last week off. Hence the reason I took myself off for fresh air and views of water.
Tonight I will have to tackle the ironing pile!
