Golf for a cause

I played a golf tournament today that raised funds for Special Olympics. Hubby and I were paired with a neighbor and his autistic son, and, while I played like total crap, the day was a lot of fun. I was impressed (and inspired) by how well the young man played golf, just walking up to the ball, hitting it without a moment’s hesitation, straight and long down the fairway :) These are the moments that make you hopeful about us as a species ;)
