The Mrs and I slowly woke up and decided to make our way to Ise Shrine. It’s one of the holiest places in Japan and certainly worth visiting. Info here (Ise Jingu)

It’s been 4 years since we came here last. Time flies. We did the usual rituals at the shrines and for the first time, bought and amulet. It was a really hot but nice day out together.
