I didn’t get much done this morning before I headed across town to go to Birgit’s house. It’s Friday and after having missed a week it was time for girls lunch and craft time!

Birgit & I both arrived at her house at about the same time, she having gone to her office this morning. We had just the right amount of time to get ourselves settled and organized at the table, when the pizza arrived. Yay! We were both hungry.

Birgit, her mum & I had much to talk about and we were deep into it! We shared what we’d seen on Netflix and what we’d been reading. Those exchanges are always fun.

We spoke about the pandemic and the affects on travel. We always discuss that as travel is her livelihood & passion and I like to travel too.

We always have a brief discussion on those that choose not to get vaccinated but this does stay brief as we know we will never truly understand their thought process

As is always the case, the 4 hours we spend together came to an end car too quickly and it was time for me to head home
