Edge of the Solway

Visiting family whom I've not seen for years, and then only at funerals or weddings ... so normal Blipping has been interrupted. We walked to the very wide shallow edge of the Solway through RSPB Mersehead in the morning, then went to Kircudbright to Mrs McGregor's garden, then the harbour, in the afternoon. A well selected sample of an area of Scotland where I've never been before.
