Day Of Days

There are days that you believe will not ever be repeated, today was one.
St Peters School, Barcelona had 'Grandparents Day'.

Those that follow my 'Blips' will know that my air tickets were my Valentines Gift from Clare. Anais had no idea I was coming for the event until I arrived on Friday.

The pleasure that grandchildren give to grandparents is immeasurable, to know that both Luis and Anais have achieved so much in under two years is very satisfying.

Following on on the "Grandparents Day" theme after being collected from school by Manolo we took ourselves of to Raul's for two or three hours of exceptional food, beer, Irish Coffee and brandy. Although not his grandparent I feel Manolo was just getting into the spirit of things!!

The photographs show Anais and I before leaving for school, Sarah's school photograph and a photograph of Julia, Manolo's Mum displayed in the 'Exhibition Centre' at the school.

It's early evening, I'm home at Sarah and Manolo's basking in the glow that comes from knowing "All is well with the world"
