100 ABSTRACTS - NUMBER 95 AND SILLY SATURDAY

Hello Lovely Blippers

We just wanted to say to you - and especially all those who have sponsored Mrs HCB in her 100 Abstracts Challenge for the MMF, that she and we are “tickled pink” by all the lovely comments, stars, hearts and generous donations made to sponsor her. 

She did say the other day that when she started she didn’t realise how long it would take, but we all think she has done very well. 

We know it’s been quite difficult finding something abstract every day  so when she suggested we dressed in pink today - although we think we all look rather silly, we were happy to do it for the good of this wonderful cause.  We think that Admirer would have giggled when she saw us but we also think she would have been proud of us and daresay would even have sponsored Mrs. HCB. 

In case any of you don’t understand what “tickled pink” means, we had a look on that World Wide Web and found this: “If you are tickled pink, you are extremely pleased about something.”  

This was a true selfie, taken by the “Pink Lady” herself using the tripod and a blue tooth thingy, if you know what that is - and it was only after she had taken the shot that she realised that the BLIP badge that she made for Snowy and everything else for that matter, was a “mirror image” - how silly is that?

Of course, Mrs HCB herself often looks very pink, after her shower, because she likes a hot one (but don’t let on we told you that) and you have seen her before when she wears her bright pink robe - so we persuaded her to wear it today and join us in this Silly Saturday Blip.  We thought it would be even sillier if Mr. HCB wore Mrs. HCB's pink robe, but he said he would happily do most things, but drew the line at that - although he did say he too, was "tickled pink" by all the donations made to the Fund.
