Back Blip - time to catch up on these random gaps in my journal!

One of the shorter woodland walks in the area is at Headswood Woodland near Denny. With the River Carron on one side and the main Denny to Falkirk road on the other, it is quite an enclosed space and is also rather overgrown at the best of times - even more so in summer! 

However, it fitted the bill perfectly for a warm, sunny Saturday when longer and more exposed walks wouldn't have been a good idea. It was nearly 8pm before I poked my head out the front door and went for my daily constitutional, and it was still warm. Did someone mention summer?
