Walking a fine line

The Brush-turkey or Scrub-turkey is common in this part of the world. They build large mounds out of leaves and earth to incubate their eggs, carefully adjusting the temperature by adding or removing material to or from the mound. They are common in the bushier parts of suburbia. This one was roaming the car park of a picnic area at Springbrook National Park in SE Queensland.
