Paws washed, thirst quenched - what's next?

Oscar, the dog, always takes a dip and has a drink in this small brook which runs by the side of our lane. Saves me swilling his muddy paws down in the yard, which he doesn't enjoy. He gets very upset in Summer when the brook dries up,but no chance of that just now.
