Little, Large and Small

I went for a walk this afternoon, mainly for the fresh air and exercise. as it was dull and quite breezy, I hadn't expected to see many butterflies, so I was pleasantly surprised to see quite a few: Gatekeepers, Meadow Brown, Ringlet, Small Heath, Large White and both Large and Small Skipper. The Skippers are in extras. The best sighting of the walk was this Little Owl. I think it's a juvenile, as the feathers still looked quite downy, it had very pale eyes, and it seemed to making practice flights between to spots. From the top of the hill, I could also hear the Tramlines Festival down in the valley in Hillsborough Park. It has been allowed to take place under the Government's pilot scheme for events.
