Heron
A trip to Leith today. With the sun shining it looked very different to my childhood home.
The food market looked Mediterranean with the selection of exotic vegetables and sunglasses.
So many cafes and restaurants accommodating the desire to eat alfresco.
Our lunch was at the very new, very fabulous Heron. These guys know their stuff. The talent is unsurpassed from the front of house, bar, waiting staff and chefs.
One chef was born 20 hours before my girl and his mother and I shared a post natal room. It's fabulous to see Tomas doing so well.
Heron, casual fine dining. You won't be disappointed and it won't be a secret for long.
Cured mackerel with gooseberries and taramasalata. The negroni was pretty fab too.
