Community Garden

The Stopsley Community Garden was officially opened a couple of weeks ago. 

When I was a lad, the site was the Anglican church's church hall, however they didn't own the site and the hall was seriously dilapidated, and contained a lot of asbestos. So it was demolished and the site was left as a piece of waste ground for many years.

The local Baptist church have now created a community garden, growing vegetables, available free if you need them, flowers to enjoy and providing a place to relax.

The piece of artwork is tucked away at the edge of the garden.
