Wing Rotations

Team Hummie took to the AOG Pollinator Arena today in the time trials for Wing Rotations.  Here you see Ursula, the team captain showing off her perfect technique - she's hotly favored to take the Gold in this event later in the AOG.  You'll also notice that Ursula isn't quite as beautiful as some of her teammates - she has an "imperfection" on her bill.  She's been practicing daily in the Stadium for nearly two weeks and refuses to discuss whether her bill is the result of an accident or a birth defect.  Either way, it doesn't stop her from doing much of anything.  The only thing that might get in her way of Gold is that she has been observed (on more than one occasion) raining terror on some of her team mates.  Stay tuned...

In other news, Team Clearwing were practicing for the upcoming nectar relay races (see Extra for the handoff of the tiny nectar baton).  Their biggest competitor in this event is Team Bumble Bee, although they do tend sometimes to get a bit confused and fly off with the baton.  Team Sparrow didn't have anything going on today so they sat in the bleachers to watch the action - young Gertrude was visibly bored by everything (captured here yawning).
