Lovely day in the sun

Early start to get organised to meet the girls for another birthday lunch for Susan. Our booking was 12.15 so we needed to be at Susan’s before 11 so we could get the train to town. Ok so we were early but Jenny is notorious for running late so we erred on the side of early.

Our 4th wheel Nicola met us on the train and we walked to the restaurant - Six by Nico with a Chinese themed menu called Shanghai. It was superb! On to a nearby bar for a couple of cocktails and back on the train to Susan’s for a beer in the sun.

My nice daughter collected me and took me home where I’m now relaxing on the sofa with Phin.

In other news our son and his girlfriend picked up their new ID3 electric car this morning - very nice!

Looking forward to a quieter day tomorrow.
