Home!

We were really lucky with our drive home! We left Newton Abbot at 8.30 and we’re at Gloucester Service by 10.30. Then home by 2.30. Given that it was the busiest day of the year we can hardly believe it. The M5 southbound was nose to tail from Bristol so I feel sorry for those travelling to Cornwall but there it is.
Home was all fine apart from the ‘courgette’ plants which had gone mad in ten days of freedom!
I may make marrow and ginger jam!
