Foxes

Regular readers may remember that back in the winter we had badgers and foxes digging up our lawn. One patch has never recovered and this week Mr L sowed some grass seed which he covered with some net curtain to prevent the birds from eating it.  He king our cameras this morning I could see we had had two young fox Cubs overnight, one of whom was right on the net. We could see something on the net and fearing the worst I looked out the window. Those Cubs had obviously stolen a dog’s toy from somewhere and decided our net was now a play mat! 

Not long after discovering that the thunderstorm came. Within half an hour the road outside was a running river! It was torrential with much thunder and lightening. Dog shivered violently for two hours! And then, just as suddenly it stopped and the rest of the day was warm, humid and hot!
