Weather fairies

The weather fairies must have been self isolating for our return to parkrun today.

The forecast was for no rain until after lunch but as I waited for the arrival of other volunteers the sky darkened and we were treated to thunder and lightning.

The heavy rain that followed made it challenging to use the app for timekeeping from inside our improvised covers but also meant that we had a comfortable number of people for getting back in the swing of things.

It was good to be back.
