A little chomped on

The roses are starting their second flush of blooms, with much of the foliage being nibbled - if not downright demolished - by beetles. I know there’s more I could do about this, but I’m a bit more motivated when the weather’s cool. I did get out and weed for a good half hour tonight - a little at a time helps.

W’s birthday is tomorrow, and tonight he and D drove to Baltimore to see the Orioles play the Nationals. The O’s have a poor record this year so the stadium was not crowded, and we’re being quite careful with masks and distancing again. Anyway, the O’s managed to win. The guys had a great time and came home with bobble head figures.
