New Project

Our house was built in the 1980s as our holiday home. Now it is our permanent home, and it is quite small. During our COVID lockdown in 2020, Jill  was observing the sun, and realised how much lighter our downstairs area would be if we extended our living room onto the deck.
Many months later, the project has started!
The French doors will be moved out to the front edge of the hole you can see, and the walls either side will be glass. This hole is the beginning of the foundation for the extended area. It’s not an additional room- just makes the existing area larger. If you look closely you can see Frida lazing in her bean bag.

I’ve had a good day- have some neighbours and friends pop in, and slept for a couple of hours this afternoon. This healing is a tiring business!
