Race to the Eye!

Katja and I joined a hardy group of VSO supporters to run a 30km route along the Thames (we did 15km each, quite enough!) - to finish opposite the London Eye. It was wet and windy but our spirits would not be dampened.

Our local supporter group were raising funds for Wendy, a new volunteer who is going to Tajikistan this summer. She is one of the hundreds of 'volunteers overcoming poverty' who help in the world's poorest countries every year.

Her guts and determination make running around in the rain seem altogether quite easy!
