Not the Forth Bridge!
Kanyl and I went for a wander along the Threlkeld to Keswick walk (the old railway line now tarmacked and smooth. We chose the route because of the heat, being mostly in a deep valley and surrounded by trees it was cooler than being anywhere else.
As the rack has been open for less than a year, following a multimillion pound refurbishment and repair after Storm Desmond, we were surprised to come across this crew. Memories of the tale (not sure if it was true or not) that when they had painted the forth bridge they started again immediately crossed our mind. Surely this would have been done during the refurb. The crew did assure us it would be good for 15 years now.
