Stained Glass Window
This ornate glass window, features in what is left of one of Wigan’s grandest buildings, the Queen’s Hall, built in 1909 by the Wesleyans.
Due to town redevelopment, most of the wonderful auditorium has gone, and this window marks the original entrance.
It was made by renowned local artist Gerald Rickards and features silhouettes of the Wesleys, and outlines of many other significant Wigan buildings
We were made most welcome on passing by and seeing the window for the first time!!
