Calla lilies

Hotter than I expected when we walked up to church this morning and it has continued to be sticky and humid this afternoon even though the sun has been intermittent.

Chris has been chopping back our Philadelphus trees as they have become very leggy. They were both in the garden when we moved in getting in for 40 years ago so I hope they survive.

These Calla Lilies are nowhere near as old but they started with a few that were given as gifts for birthdays and retirements and go from strength to strength each year. We have two other pots of them as well as these troughs.
They usually seem to make it to blip when covered in rain drops so I’m blipping the today before the rain arrives!
