Poppies in the Wheat Field

An afternoon walk, trying to use the footpaths across local fields.  I'm sure L was not impressed as we pushed our way through nettles, thistles bracken.  We didn't even try to use the one footpath, driving passed it yesterday I knew that it was completely blocked by Himalayan balsam.


I haven't seen any poppy fields this year, though this plant had managed to grow amongst a field of wheat we walked through.
