A Little Mandarin

Millie the young mandarin caused inadvertently a slight commotion when she accidentally landed on the camera platform here at the AOGs (Alternative Olympic Games) this afternoon. 

The viewfinders were blocked so multitudinous timers and TV coverage came grinding to a halt as her feathers filled the screen as she peered into the lenses. Even intrepid reporters such as myself were lost for words without anything to view whilst directors frantically panned to alternative events trying to salvage their coverage. 

Her mother came running through the crowds calling frantically followed hot foot by security but Millie was in a happy world of her own.

On may way home I popped to see Longshaw Pond in the Peak District as it was so close but there wasn't much there that was obvious and time was running out. A beautiful part of the world though.
