Sunday ,day of ......

....... Church hymns!
Yes , the 1st day since lockdown & Covid 19 hit us all in the uk.
# service great, lovely to sing ,some restrictions still in place but much better
# took a picnic lunch to our favourite ( near ) place. Godstone Surrey( uk). The Canada Geese Family have grown so much in a week. Shame one of the babies has disappeared .
# then we walked up to the lovely little tearoom where I'm treated like a queen!! & we only ever have a pot of tea & a slice of delicious lime cake.
# as we walked back to the car the thunder crashed the lightening flashed & down came the rain. We just reached the car before the deluge came , more thunder , more lightening. We were parked under trees , must say it was a bit scary but we just couldn't see to move. So we read the paper/books ( as you do!) Until it was safe to drive then we came home. What a lovely Sunday do hope you've all enjoyed yours too.
