Turmeric Flower!

It always amazes me when this plant produces such a beautiful flower! I also have Ginger growing right next to it but it has not flowered yet! Maybe I need to replant the Ginger away from the Turmeric so it is able to get more share of the nutrients and the sun.
I could have kicked myself today because a friend I haven’t seen in over two years came to visit from Oklahoma and brought her cute little baby son who I’d never met - and I forgot to take any photos!
Im not very good at remembering when I’m with people!
