Malham Cove

Another excellent days walking – Airton, Kirby Malham, Malham and a brief descent from Malham Cove avoiding most of the crowds which weren’t too bad considering it was a Sunday and the sun was shining. An eleven mile loop with a fair bit on the deserted Pennine Way, plenty of stops for water and homemade cake.
The blip, obvs, is Malham Cove, the extra is my walking companions who provided much laughter and good conversation, and our knowledgeable and gracious leader who helped us over numerous styles and held open a great many gates.
