Prescott Hill Climb

Family Covid quarantine ended last night allowing a trip to Prescott Hill Climb by way of a small consolation for the postponed Silverstone day out last week.

It was a great event, once you can ‘park’ temporarily the damage that fossil fuelled cars roaring through idyllic Cotswold countryside actually does.

I especially enjoyed the vintage Bugattis trundling majestically up the hill accompanied by the familiar percussive sound of the heritage steam train chuffing its way to Broadway on the nearby railway line. Yes I am really still living in the past!

We enjoyed a delicious evening meal cooked for us all by our daughter at the end of our automotive exertions.

I thought this sign, beside the race track, was one that most of our politicians should read and heed!
