Accepting The Inevitable

Trying to photograph flowers in the wind is probably a lost cause. I tried so many times, waiting patiently for a lull in the breeze to catch them at rest, but the images were not even acceptably soft. Added to which, just getting the flower head in the frame so I could focus was a challenge at times.

Eventually I changed tack and tried to show the flowers in motion, to demonstrate the impact of the wind. Even that turned out to be more difficult than I thought because of the variation in wind speed, constantly needing to change shutter speed and reevaluate the results.

I think this frame worked out not too bad in the end.
