Marigolds

Well, calendula technically, which I grew from seed this year. They’re actually much bigger than I’d expected because I think I was getting them confused with marigolds. Still, they’re beautiful now they’re flowering.

The expected rain and thunderstorms didn’t materialise here today but I could here them on a FaceTime call to London this afternoon. I made a lovely gluten free banana loaf (from the Dove Farms website) to use up some over-ripe bananas. At least, it was lovely freshly baked - we’ll see how it tastes tomorrow although I may freeze some slices to keep it fresh for another week.
