All aboard (almost)!
Pre-covid, every weekday morning I had to take my husband to the station at 6am, go back with my daughter at 7am, then drop my son off at the school bus stop at 7.30am on my own way into work. Needless to say, one of the (few) benefits of the lockdowns was that I didn't have to provide any early-morning taxi services!
My husband seems to be making up for lost time today, though, as not only did I have to take him to Three Bridges Station for the first time in well over 16 months, but he's away for three days. It was certainly bizarre seeing him in his suit again!
It occurred to me that although I know there's a geological fault line running under the area (forever a geography teacher, ha, ha!), I didn't know where the other two bridges are so I googled it. Turns out the 'three bridges' are nothing to do with the railway at all!
