Glasgow Botanics

Our first night in Glasgow took us to The Glasgow Botanic Gardens with views of the Kibble Palace and the old church spire of Oran Mor-which is now a very successful pub.
The Kibble Place is a beautiful glass house which was built in 1873, and amazingly it was transported up the Clyde by barge to get it close to its present site.  It has fairly recently been hugely restored to its present gleaming state.
