Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum

Great afternoon spent at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum - there are so many memorable contents within the museum, and all so well displayed, but undoubtedly Salvador Dali's "Christ on the Cross" (see 1st extra) is always the highlight.

Later this evening we did a bit of canal-exploring (along the Forth & Clyde Canal) and ventured up past the Maryhill Locks and over to the Stockingfield Junction, where major regeneration works are taking place. 2nd extra shows a section of the canal, between the locks and the junction-works ... it really was as hot as it looks!
